The dad who filmed Kate Middleton visiting a local farm shop with Prince William this week slammed the “delusional” internet trolls who have cast doubt on the video and continue to spin conspiracy theories on the Princess of Wales’ health.
“What more do you need to lay off her? I thought after this was released they’d go quiet. But these people are so invested in the drama now,” Nelson Silva, 40, told The Sun Tuesday, one day after the now-viral footage was published.
Silva, 40, said he had no knowledge of the ongoing rumors swirling around Middleton’s health — and the status of her whereabouts — when he ran into her at Windsor Farm Shop Saturday afternoon.
The video of the smiling royal briskly walking alongside her husband should have put to bed wild speculation that Middleton was in a coma, Silva said.
Instead, the low-quality video only fanned the firestorm’s flames — erupting new conspiracies that the video was several months old or that the woman was a stunt double for Kate.
“I’m not so much shocked that these comments have continued, I’m just confused how exactly they can continue,” Silva, an engineer, told the outlet from his Windsor home.
“This is a video clearly showing her and William. I saw them with my own eyes. It was a completely relaxed situation.”
The father of one said he was passing time over the weekend at the local shop when he noticed the Prince and Princess perusing the bread and meat sections.
The pair were “talking to staff and laughing,” Silva said, adding that they “just looked very happy and relaxed together.”
They strolled through the parking lot toward the back of the fields, where Silva assumes they walked the roughly 1.3 miles back to their Windsor property.

Silva filmed the couple for a few seconds and turned the camera off before William could notice — Middleton’s hubby is reportedly furious over his wife’s treatment in the press.
“William was obviously protective of Kate and I quickly stopped recording because I didn’t want to make them uncomfortable,” he said.
Silva claimed he had only taken the video to share with family in Portugal without any knowledge of the rampant gossip surrounding Middleton — making accusations by online trolls that he played any part in manufacturing a fake video even more ludicrous, he said.

“Are they now going to question if I’m a real person as well? Are they going to say I made this video? Did I put a fake Kate there? It is ridiculous,” Silva said.
“At what point will they back off and realize they have been caught up in something that is crazy?”

Silva theorized that internet celebrities and influencers have taken the conspiracies so far that they don’t have the option to backtrack — even when faced with his video footage showing the Princess of Wales looking “well.”
“Even famous people are guilty. People with a large platform online — they can’t admit they are wrong now because they look so delusional,” he said.
The father expressed sympathy for Middleton and said he only released the video of the “happy” couple to The Sun for publication Monday to help squash rumors.

“This is a mother who has had an operation and people should not be speaking about her in this manner.
“The people saying nasty things and jumping on the bandwagon, I think they just want to get likes. It is very sad. I’ve had operations and know what the recovery is like,” Silva said.
To the online conspiracy theorists, Silva said: “Get a hobby. Get something better to do with your day than this.”

The video is part of a trio of paparazzi images that have caught Middleton outside the Palace or the hospital since her January abdominal surgery.
Like the footage, the two pictures are also grainy and shadowed, lending to increased scrutiny surrounding the royal.
Public interest in the Princess’ health exploded earlier this month when she posted a heavily doctored picture of herself and her kids for UK’s Mother’s Day.

Several news organizations immediately pulled the photo, citing that it was extensively “manipulated.”
A palace insider later told The Post that Silva’s video of Middleton’s latest sighting “should hopefully be enough to put an end to the outside noise about her recovery.”
