Bumps are beautiful.
When it comes to chic maternity wear, everyone from Kourtney Kardashian to Chrissy Teigen has turned to Bumpsuit, the brand hoping to create “a new maternity uniform” for expectant mothers.
Offering sleek, stretchy pieces that hug women’s curves — like its bestselling Kate jumpsuit ($135) — the female-founded brand boasts a slew of famous fans including Kylie Jenner, Sophie Turner, Miranda Kerr, Emily Ratajkowski and Rumer Willis.

“I wanted to create a chic space for maternity and support women going through the biggest transition of their lives,” Nicole Trunfio, Bumpsuit’s founder and CEO, tells Page Six Style.
Australian model Trunfio — who got the idea for Bumpsuit while pregnant with her third child — says she wanted to break away “from the aged and traditional idea of maternity dressing” that she felt made women feel they were “losing their identities, and not by choice.”
Instead of tent-like silhouettes, Trunfio created form-fitting and fashion-forward pieces that give women “a feeling of being hugged.”
The idea quickly caught on in Hollywood, where stars like Rihanna have been celebrating their changing bodies with bold, bump-centric ensembles while they’re expecting.

While Bumpsuit initially launched with catsuits and rompers, it’s since expanded to include dresses, bras, underwear, baby carriers and more.
The label is now carried at Victoria’s Secret, too, marking the first time a maternity brand has been sold at the lingerie retailer.
And although the brand’s pieces are created from a fabric that stretches to accommodate a pregnant woman’s growing body, Bumpsuit can also be worn after giving birth — or by those who aren’t pregnant at all.
The maternity retailer has also launched a new podcast, welcoming guests like Rumer Willis and Miranda Kerr to share their unfiltered experiences during pregnancy, birth and beyond.
Ashlee Simpson is another famous fan of the brand.

In a recent episode, Willis shared that she thought she had everything figured out about motherhood — until she actually got pregnant.
“Pregnancy totally smacked me on my ass,” the star — who has a special shade of Bumpsuit’s Armadillo carrier ($275) named after her daughter, Luetta — admitted to Trunfio.
