Prince Harry reportedly learned of Kate Middleton’s cancer diagnosis on TV.
“It is understood that Kate’s cancer diagnosis was not shared in advance with Harry and Meghan [Markle],” The Times UK reported Saturday, one day after the Princess of Wales, 42, revealed she’s undergoing preventative chemotherapy.
“Several sources confirm that there were no such conversations and it is thought Harry found out about Kate’s diagnosis from television, at the same time as the public.”

Upon learning of the diagnosis, the “Spare” author, 39, and the “Suits” alum, 42, released a brief statement showing their support for Middleton.
“We wish health and healing for Kate and the family, and hope they are able to do so privately and in peace,” the Duke and Duchess of Sussex said.
The new report from The Times UK comes one day after The Post exclusively reported that the couple were “blindsided” by the Princess of Wales’ cancer news.
“They had no idea, and only learned of the news around the same time the rest of the world found out,” an insider told us. “This goes to show the irreparable damage they have caused. The trust has been broken and the royal family is OK distancing themselves from them.”

“We hope that you will understand that, as a family, we now need some time, space and privacy while I complete my treatment,” she went on, noting that the illness “came as a huge shock.”
Middleton also said she and William have been doing everything they can to “process and manage this privately” for the sake of their children: Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5.
“My work has always brought me a deep sense of joy and I look forward to being back when I am able, but for now, I must focus on making a full recovery,” she concluded.
