Sacha Baron Cohen is denying Rebel Wilson’s claims that he tried to threaten her over her upcoming memoir, “Rebel Rising.”
Wilson previously slammed a “massive a–hole” A-lister, whom she later revealed as the British actor. The pair previously co-starred in the 2016 comedy “The Brothers Grimsby.”
“While we appreciate the importance of speaking out, these demonstrably false claims are directly contradicted by extensive detailed evidence, including contemporaneous documents, film footage, and eyewitness accounts from those present before, during, and after the production of The Brothers Grimsby,” a spokesperson for Cohen, 52, said in a statement to The Post on Monday.

“I will not be bullied or silenced with high priced lawyers or PR crisis managers,” the “Pitch Perfect” actress wrote. “The ‘a–hole’ that I am talking about in ONE CHAPTER of my book is Sacha Baron Cohen.”

“Now the a–hole is trying to threaten me,” she wrote in a now-deleted Instagram Story. “He’s hired a crisis PR manager and lawyers. He’s trying to stop press coming out about my new book.”
Before publicly naming Cohen, on March 15, Wilson looked back on when she “first came to Hollywood” while encouraging followers to preorder her book.
“People were like, ‘Yeah, I have a no-a–holes policy that means, like, I don’t work with a–holes.’ I was like, ‘Yeah, I mean, that sounds sensible, logical,’” she said at the time via Instagram. “But then it really sunk in what they were meaning by that, older people in the industry.
“Because I worked with a massive a–hole, and, yeah, now I definitely have a no-a–holes policy chapter on said a–hole. It is chapter 23,” she added. “That guy was a massive a–hole.”

This is not the first time Wilson has slammed the “Borat” actor.
During an interview with the “Kyle & Jackie O” radio show, Wilson stated that the actor was “outrageous” after working together on “The Brothers Grimsby.”
“Every single day he’s like, ‘Rebel, can you just go naked in this scene?’ And I’m like, ‘No!’” she claimed in the interview.
Wilson allegedly threatened the “Les Misérables” star by calling their mutual agent.
“Sacha and I have the same agent in America, and I’m like, ‘Sacha, I’m going to call our agent Sharon and tell her how much you are harassing me,’” she recalled per Vanity Fair, claiming that Cohen continued to pester her to do the scene.
“Sacha is so outrageous,” Wilson stated in her 2014 appearance. “Every single day he’s like, ‘Rebel, can you just go naked in this scene?’ And I’m like, ‘No!’” Daniel Smith
“Every day he’s like, ‘Just go naked, it will be funny. Remember in ‘Borat’ when I did that naked scene? It was hilarious,’” Wilson continued. “On the last day I thought I’d obviously won the argument and he got a body double to do the naked scene.”
However, it appeared Wilson’s troubles were far from over.
“Then in the last scene … he was like, ‘Rebel, can you just stick your finger up my butt?’ And I went, ‘What do you mean Sacha? That’s not in the script.’ And he’s like, ‘Look, I’ll just pull down my pants, you just stick your finger up my butt, it’ll be a really funny bit.’”
The pair reached a compromise, with Wilson slapping him on the butt.
Despite their feud, Wilson is still promising fans that her book “WILL come out and you will all know the truth.”
“Rebel Rising” is slated to hit bookstores on April 2.
