Wagering with BetMGM

Portland Trailblazers (+500) vs. Houston Rockets (-700)
The Trailblazers are in Houston Monday night taking on the insanely hot Rockets as Houston looks to keep its eight game win streak alive and claw its way into the play-in.
They stand a good chance at this point, the Western Conference is somewhat top heavy as just one game seperates the Nuggets, Thunder and Timberwolves, while the remaining teams are sitting more than five games back.

No disrespect to the Blazers here but there’s more interest in props than any game wagers here. Portland will likely be overmatched by the athleticism and speed of Houston.
Jalen Green has played very well while Alperen Sengun has been out with an ankle injury and I expect that to continue against a Blazers team that has struggled defensively. They’ve struggled to box out, they’ve struggled on helpside, they’ve struggled in transition.
One area in which Portland has played relatively well is defending the three, but that’s not as useful here. While Green has been a solid three point shooter, he’ll be without two of his biggest cohorts (Jabari Smith is also out).
