The actress and author, 34, was recently spotted out for a stroll in New York City, and while we’ve grown accustomed to seeing the “Uncut Gems” star in skin-baring outfits, she was surprisingly dressed down for the occasion.
Of course, Fox’s casual outfit had a little bit of flair; She wore an oversized brown fur coat over a knit sweater, tights, and pink satin ballet flats, which she styled with contrasting white socks.

But rather than rocking her go-to black eyeliner or sparkly shadow, the “Down the Drain” author opted to skip makeup entirely, keeping her bare face slightly covered with a baseball cap.
Her long, platinum blond hair was worn down and undone, and she carried her phone in her hand as well a black purse.
Fox is set to star in a new reality competition show, “OMG Fashun,” which premieres on E! on May 6. Alongside famed stylist Law Roach, the mom of one will act as host, and each episode will feature three designers who must create an outfit for Fox using (what else?) unconventional materials. The winner of the challenge gets to take home a $10,000 prize.
In a preview clip that hints at what to come, designers were tasked with creating a look made entirely of trash.

But wearing head-to-toe glamourous garbage isn’t too outrageous considering Fox’s fashion sense.
She recently made jaws drop at the Oscars, arriving Elton John AIDs Foundation’s viewing party in a barely-there dress, which included a fringe skirt and chain straps that connected to makeshift metal pasties.
Fox also broke out a few over-the-top ensembles for Paris Fashion Week, showing up at the Mugler show in a sheer, tinsel embellished catsuit and, at one point, channeling “Black Swan” in a bikini top and tutu.
Still, the actress’ latest look proves she’s able to pull off the best of both worlds and that her style goes beyond a single aesthetic.
